Data Deletion Instructions

01What a deletion request is

A data deletion request is simply you asking us to remove the personal information we hold about you — for example, the record of a WhatsApp conversation you had with Fazilabs through Fazilabs Messaging. You do not need an account with us to make this request; you only need to have contacted us.

02How to submit a request

Send an email to hello@fazilabs.comwith the subject line "Data deletion request". In the body of the email, let us know that you would like your information deleted and include the details listed in the next section.

03Information to include in your request

To help us find and delete the right records, please include:

• The WhatsApp phone number you used to message Fazilabs (including the country code)
• Your name, if you shared one with us in conversation
• Roughly when you messaged us, if you remember (e.g. "around July 2026")
• Any other detail that helps us locate the conversation, such as what it was about

Do not send us your WhatsApp password, PIN, one-time passcode (OTP), two-factor authentication code, or any other account credential. We will never ask you for these, and we do not need them to process a deletion request.

04Identity verification

Because we are deleting personal information, we may need to take reasonable steps to confirm that a deletion request genuinely comes from the person it concerns — for example, by asking you to send the request from, or confirm, the same WhatsApp number or email address associated with the conversation. This is to protect you from someone else requesting deletion of your data without your knowledge.

05What may be deleted

Once we have located and verified your request, we will delete the personal information associated with your WhatsApp conversation history that we hold, which may include:

• The content of messages exchanged between you and Fazilabs through Fazilabs Messaging
• Your WhatsApp phone number and any associated identifiers stored in our systems
• Any notes or records our team created in connection with that conversation

06What we may need to retain

In some cases we may need to retain limited information even after a deletion request — for example, where we are legally required to keep certain business or financial records, where information is needed to resolve a dispute or enforce our agreements, or where it is part of a backup system that is purged on its own regular cycle rather than deleted on demand. Where this applies, we will let you know what could not be deleted and why.

This page addresses information held by Fazilabs. It does not cover information WhatsApp or Meta hold independently as the operator of the WhatsApp Business Platform — for that, see WhatsApp's Privacy Policy or your own WhatsApp app settings.

07How you'll know it's done

Once we have processed your request, we will reply to the email address you used to confirm that your information has been deleted, or explain what (if anything) we retained and why, as described above.
